Chloe Crouse - Ridgecrest, CA

 Welcome to CC Music, the music website for Chloe Crouse - Piano, Percussion and Voice lesson instructor, Accompanist, Music Director, Pianist and Percussionist. Currently located in Herndon, VA.

Chloe has a BA in music: percussion/piano from Case Western Reserve University, in cooperation with the Cleveland Institute of Music. She was a music instructor with Music & Arts in Virginia Beach for 4 years and has taught private lessons since 2009. Most recently, she performed percussion and piano with the Cosmic Symphony in Southern Maryland, the Desert Community Orchestra, Cerro Coso College Band (section leader) and in The Christmas Carol production by the Ridgecrest Musical Enrichment Society. She recently finished performing on piano in the "Songs of the Spirit" concert, put on by local composer and pianist Patrick Rindt. You can catch recordings of her as Music Director and keyboards performer in the Ridgecrest Opera Workshop's weekly episodes of Magic Flute (available on the Ridgecrest Opera Workshop's Facebook page or Instagram). She continued as Music Director and keyboards for the live performances of Magic Flute held in September 2021. She recently served as Music Director/Pianist for the Ridgecrest Opera Workshop's performance of Amahl and the Night Visitors, cosponsored by Ridgecrest United Methodist Church, as well as pianist, Music Director and vocal soloist for the Christmas Celebration Concert in December 2022 (live stream featured on the RUMC Facebook page). 

After winning the Case Western Reserve University Concerto Competition in 2007 and performing a percussion feature accompanied by the Case Symphonic Winds in Severance Hall (home of the Cleveland Orchestra), she went on to win the Terr Ronis Recital Prize in 2008 as a marimba soloist. She has accompanied dozens of solo vocalists and instrumentalists in Solo and Ensemble competitions in Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida and California, as well as performing as organist and piano accompanist for the St. Francis Episcopalian Church in Gulf Breeze, Fl and substitute organist for multiple Pensacola area churches. She served as adjunct faculty for Pensacola State College and performed keyboards for Musical theatre performances. She performed Zarrabanda, a percussion solo with band, as well as many well attended performances in the Saenger Theater during her two year tenure with the Pensacola Civic Band. She has performed in percussion ensembles, concert bands, orchestras, steel band, samba band, musical theater ensembles and rehearsal pianist, chamber ensembles, choirs, church music and solo recitals. She currently lives in Virginia with her husband Sam, and children Caroline and Ian.
